About Us

DAVID OAKES - IMAGES is a both a Photographic  Service and a PHOTO LIBRARY.  We have over 35,000 images on file.  Many  are on film in either Medium Format or 35mm. But increasingly the selection is made up of Digital images.

The library covers LANDSCAPES, SCENIC’S  and TRAVEL.  HERITAGE - Buildings, Interiors and Gardens.

DAVID OAKES - IMAGES  also undertakes projects & commisions for major Book, Greetings Card, Calendar and Magazine Publishers as well as Corporate organisations.

We also specialise in photographic reviews on new Narrowboats

Buster is our latest recruit and has been appointed Head of Security.  Guards the Nikons with his life, but more often asleep in front of the TV (sorry CCTV)
